the worlds stupidest song...

/rant on

who would have thought the black eyed peas would put out a song stupider than thier group name?  i mean... the black eyed peas... why the fuck would you name your band that?  i listened to an interview they did on z100 (against my better judgement) and they made reference to why they're 'awesome' that i am now about to paraphrase:  in a world of people who enjoy juicy steaks... here we come... a big bowl of black eyed peas to shock the system.

so is it okay to say that the black eyed peas give me the shits?

babybonnie34: It drives me insane, then the people who call feel the need to tell me thier life story when they call

chapstick:  the addiction

after my post yesterday about my hobo bag and the insane amount of useless things i contain inside, i recieved several comments that really bloomed into an interesting discovery.  chapstick.

as i read the comments i noticed that almost everyone seemed to have thier 'room' for chapstick!  may it be from those like me who suffer from the handbag that seemed to accumulate and magnify intrinsically~ or those who assert that they do not require so much as a small purse since they make due with the pocket of thier jeans or thier hubby/boyfriend's pockets... chapstick... everyone has chapstick!

quick little google research rendered a slew of websites and messageboards dedicated to:  The Addiction of Chapstick.  and i thought to myself... i am not alone!  i'm not the only person whom rain or shine, hot or cold, sweaty or dehydrated~ wether my lips are plump and moist or dry and peeling--applies my faithful cherry flavored lip balm to my beseeching embouchement.

why?

is it the flavor?  the cherry, the mint, the mint-cherries of the world!  on our lips!
is it the smell?  the fruity, the sweet, the tart-and-tangy that's oh so yummy!
is it the convivial glow it provides to our kisser?  making our pucker so desireable, its futile to resist?!

Hello everyone,

I'm moving to NYC in June and was wondering, what are the best tattoo parlors? I'm not wanting flash work or a place that is cheap, I want a fantastic quality artist that will do an amazing custom job. The artist I've been going to in Atlanta is Rob at Timeless Tattoo and also at Liberty Tattoo.

Thanks in advance for your help!

I have an apartment in Bay Ridge I'm looking to sublet. Please let me know if you'd be interested. It's right near the R Train and close to the Verazzano Bridge. It's a one bedroom with kitchen/living room and bathroom. Rent is 850 plus utilities. Lease ends on July 1st but you can probably talk to the landlord about staying and getting your own lease for a year. Interested? Respond here.

I have another IPOD question.

It seems the music I have downloaded online that i've placed on my ITUNES, to transfer to my Ipod, have wrong information.. track title typos, wrong album names, and I was wondering if there's any way to edit it. Because I've noticed you can only edit the ones with already correct information.

I'm completely lost, help out.

Thanks!

Just a question. :(

To anyone who may have or know how to operate an ipod.

HOW DO YOU DELETE MUSIC?

As my brother was installing it, he put some sample music just to see how it works, and as far as I've read, you cannot remove any music that's already been placed on your ipod.

can anyone help?

thanks!!

We need some bitches.

Come join fuckyoucrew, whores.

Because everyone knows that you move to New York, get AIDS, and forget what makes good music in the first place. Seriously, why is that? That anyone who moves to New York, like, six months later, comes out thinking that some bullshit pseudo-electro or refried Gang of Four is the shit?

Yeah, prove us wrong. I thought so.

Snowden EP [14 Oct 2004|02:18pm]

nopayne
Hi fucks.

Snowden, the band I'm in, is gonna be playing a show next month @ Knitting Factory w/ Asobi Seksu & Sons of Sound on November 16. It's being put together by Gothamist Events. The first of hopefully many. Drink sponsors, open bar, yada yada.

We've decided to just give our EP away for free online. We are fucking insane. Yes. Anyone that wants it... take it! They are all newer mixes of the songs, & sound better than the ones on the original cds we pressed. I've made a .zip & .rar archive of it w/ front and back cover jpgs included. You can get it here, your choice:

Snowden EP (.zip) or Snowden EP (.rar)

We're actually encouraging people to put it in their SoulSeek & Kazaa shared folders, post links to it wherever you want, etc. Just help spread the Snowden loving. Please? & Thank you.
